Day 10 (Jan. 10)
Morning Weight: down 1 lb, with a total loss of 7.4 lbs since Day 1.
I feel it’s important during this cleanse not to focus on the numbers. The scale will adjust up and down, and on a day to day basis, will not make a big difference. The overall, week to week weight will better show my progress.
Week 1 weight loss = 7.4 lbs (based on the morning of Day 8)
I feel really good today.
I did an HIIT run on the treadmill for 30 minutes, followed by 22 wall push-ups and 60 crunches.
I had a great morning fresh juice, which is one of my favourite parts of the day. Mmmm!
Later in the morning, I had a green smoothie. After doing some errands, I came home and had a blueberry-banana smoothie.
Headed out the door to do more errands, but this time, my husband and I stopped at a Mexican fast food restaurant.
Basically, I had a burrito in a bowl, but just with the raw veggie parts: shredded lettuce and cabbage, tomatoes, and salsa. I also had corn, so that was cooked and I had a tiny bit of guacamole on top. I don’t know what was in the guacamole (I didn’t ask), so I took the risk there may be some oil or ingredients other than raw veg. On such a small scale, and the fact that I was out, I can live with that.
In the evening, I made a beautiful plate of fruit: kiwis, raspberries and blueberries.
I drank little water today, so I need to stay on top of that.
