Day 20 of 28 Day Raw Food Cleanse

Day 20 (Jan. 20)

Morning Weight: down .8, with a total loss of 9.6 lbs since Day 1.

I felt sick today with something developing in my chest. Coughing and not pleasant.

I had my fresh juice in the morning, followed by a day with 2 smoothies and a very basic salad of spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, red onions, balsamic vinegar.

Today, I veered off my “raw” part of the cleanse by having 2 bowls of the broth portion of a low-fat and dairy-free borscht. It was so tasty.

I was so inspired by my lunch broth that I went home after work and made my own veggie broth. Loved it. In the pot I threw some carrots, celery, mushrooms, onions, beets, garlic, celery salt, cumin, basil, cayenne, sea salt, and fresh ground pepper. I had three large cups of it, with enough left over to enjoy a bowl tomorrow.

The broth was so tasty and especially soothing to my growing sore throat and cough.

For dessert I had some banana, raspberries and blueberries.

I had about half a litre of water today.

    1. I agree. I need to drink more water. That`s an important one for detox. I`ve been sick for a few days and have had even more of an issue getting enough. Will have to work on it. Thanks for the reminder!

    1. Thanks for your support, Steven. It`s nice to see progress. My weight loss has accelerated over the last fews days because I haven`t been well, but I`m sure that will even out. I appreciate your encouragement!
